Your Role and Responsibilities
The Event Technology Manager will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through the intricacies of registration websites, supporting innovative technology platforms, and managing data while collaborating closely with the event delivery team. This position entails the implementation, development, and support of new technology platforms, leveraging advanced skills in Microsoft Excel to handle event information lists and generate insightful reports. Additionally, the role may involve assisting clients with event and meeting coordination.
Please note that domestic and/or international travel may be required for this position.
Your Key Contributions
- Oversee the implementation and project management of event registration websites, app development, and other technological needs for assigned events.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Manage client communications, including save-the-dates, invitations, registrations, confirmations, and related materials.
- Ensure database integrity through accurate information management and list generation.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external clients, responding to inquiries promptly within agreed service level agreements.
- Collaborate with the event delivery team on logistics, production, and overall program implementation.
- Manipulate lists to provide team members with relevant registration data, year-on-year statistics, and insights into various event analytics.
- Coordinate the production of name badges, tent cards, place cards, departure notices, email confirmations, agendas, signage, etc., as necessary.
- Assist with the design and flow of the registration desk.
