Your Role:
As a Commis Chef, you will assist the Chef de Partie (CDP) in maintaining high service standards as per established recipes and standard operating procedures (SOPs). You will ensure that all goods received for the kitchen align with our orders and requirements, while constantly learning about specials and menu changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the CDP in running your section effectively, ensuring adherence to recipe standards.
- Learn and implement menu changes and specials as directed.
- Complete mise en place and handovers accurately and punctually for the next shift.
Qualifications:
- Previous kitchen experience or relevant qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
- Hands-on approach with a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Commitment to providing exceptional guest service in the hospitality industry.
- Ability to creatively solve problems and take ownership of assigned tasks.
- Personal integrity and a dedication to excellence in a high-paced environment.
