- This is a fully onsite position based in Philadelphia.
- Significant time will be dedicated to engaging with clients and prospects in the field.
- While administrative and team collaboration will occur in our office, your primary focus will be on building relationships and driving revenue through face-to-face interactions.
- As part of our Strategic Growth team, you will represent the company and be a key player in our market expansion. Your primary responsibility will be to generate new revenue.
- In essence, your role as a Strategic Growth Manager is to attract top-performing agents to Compass by effectively communicating our value proposition, which includes technology, marketing, culture, and growth opportunities. Successful SGMs persuade leading agents to transition from their existing brokerages to Compass, as each agent operates as an independent contractor, seeking the best value and support.
- This sales process is unique as you will be directly engaging with decision-makers, streamlining the experience compared to traditional corporate sales.
METRICS
- This role carries a quota. Your quarterly target is based on the Gross Commission Income (GCI) you successfully generate for Compass. GCI quantifies an agent's performance, reflecting the commission they produced over the previous 12 months. Our deal sizes range from $200K to $3M+, with an average closing time of approximately 30 days.
- You can achieve your quota each quarter by onboarding individual agents or large teams. Your quota is determined by the past 12 months’ performance of the agent or team and is not dependent on their future production at Compass.
- Your role includes assisting agents in understanding the benefits for their business and clients in moving to Compass.
NUANCES
- This sales approach is more personalized than typical sales processes, as you will be interacting directly with decision-makers. Each agent can be viewed as the CEO of their own business, which requires a heightened level of empathy and understanding.
