Your Impact
As the Engineering Manager, you will spearhead the engineering team dedicated to the development and maintenance of our cutting-edge SaaS products. Your leadership will ensure the timely delivery of exceptional software solutions that meet our high standards. You will oversee project requirements, delegate tasks effectively, and uphold excellence in all project deliveries.
What You'll Do
- Project Leadership: Define project requirements, create work schedules, and assign tasks to achieve project objectives.
- Team Management: Lead a talented team of engineers, fostering communication and collaboration across departments, while engaging with various stakeholders including management, product managers, and designers.
- Reporting: Generate progress reports and present findings to pertinent stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Recognize potential risks and devise contingency plans as necessary.
Who You Are
- Over 10 years of software engineering experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proficient in SaaS environments, with a solid understanding of cloud-based technologies and architectures.
- Experienced in leading, managing, and scaling engineering teams effectively.
- Strong technical foundation in software development, ideally with hands-on experience in building SaaS products, including skills in API and Data Model Design and Implementation.
- Practical experience with programming languages such as Kotlin, Java, C#, and Python in an enterprise context.
- Proven ability to inspire and motivate a diverse engineering team, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal and team-building skills.
- Expertise in project management tools and methodologies, with the capability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of secure design and development principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address technical, personnel, and project-related challenges.
Even Better If You Have…
- Experience with Feature or Release Toggles as a code branching strategy.
- Experience in selecting and extending third-party components for operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
