Role overview
The Engineering Manager for Batch Compute Infrastructure leads a group responsible for building and maintaining the tools, infrastructure, and systems that power Spark, Hadoop, and Celeborn at Stripe. This role sets the roadmap for these platforms, focusing on their reliability and scalability.
Collaboration is central: the manager works closely with other engineering and finance teams whose projects depend on dependable data processing infrastructure. The position also involves partnering with stakeholders to define, measure, and track the cost-efficiency of Stripe’s batch compute systems.
