Key Responsibilities:Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations inquiries, managing documentation and support for workplace issues; escalate complex matters to leadership as necessary. Conduct interviews and gather detailed information on employee complaints, investigations, and labor relations issues, ensuring thorough documentation. Collaborate with the Learning & Development Specialist to analyze trends in employee relations and translate insights into proactive training and development initiatives. Oversee the performance management process documentation, ensuring compliance and alignment with organizational policies. Stay informed on federal, state, and local employment laws, ensuring adherence and communicating changes to relevant parties. Develop and enhance compliance programs in partnership with organizational leadership. Manage core People & Culture compliance functions, including recordkeeping and audit readiness. Draft and maintain People & Culture policies and handbooks in collaboration with leadership and legal teams. Conduct audits and research to assess the effectiveness of compliance initiatives and support continuous improvement. Assist in the development and delivery of training related to compliance, employee relations, and workplace conduct.

The Employee & Labor Relations Specialist plays a vital role in fostering a positive workplace environment by managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and supporting People & Culture initiatives. This position collaborates closely with leadership and the Learning & Development team to effectively address workplace concerns, mitigate risks, and promote a compliant, high-performing organization.

Salary: $70,000-$80,000 annually
