Role Overview: Field Trainer
Based in Savannah, GA, the Field Trainer plays a hands-on role in shaping leasing and sales performance across Hillpointe properties. This position works directly with on-site teams, supporting both new hires and experienced staff to drive operational success and deliver a consistent resident experience.
Main Responsibilities
- Coach leasing and sales teams on effective lead management, follow-up, communication, and closing strategies.
- Model strong leasing behaviors and identify opportunities for improvement in team performance.
- Train staff to deliver engaging, consistent property tours and reinforce story-telling, product knowledge, and personalized service.
- Promote adherence to company policies and procedures, building consistent and repeatable habits.
- Visit properties regularly to observe real-time interactions and provide immediate, actionable feedback.
- Support teams during lease-ups, transitions, and when performance challenges arise.
- Lead in-person onboarding sessions for new hires, focusing on service standards, systems, communication, and leasing fundamentals to build confidence from day one.
- Facilitate ongoing development through refresher courses, role-plays, and skill-building sessions, encouraging curiosity and continuous growth.
- Track progress, identify training trends, and communicate insights and needs to leadership.
- Work closely with Operations and Learning & Development to align training with business goals and support new initiatives.
