The Opportunity

Obvio is in search of a high-impact Account Executive to be located at our San Carlos headquarters, tasked with driving revenue on a national scale. This role is tailored for a sales-oriented professional who excels in early-stage environments, is adept at navigating complex government and public-sector sales, and is prepared to influence our go-to-market strategies as we expand.

You will manage the complete sales cycle—from initial discovery to closing—while collaborating closely with leadership, product, and marketing teams. Although this role is primarily office-based, occasional travel will be necessary to engage with key customers, oversee pilot programs, and explore strategic opportunities across the United States.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and finalize mid-market to enterprise sales opportunities throughout a national territory.

  • Engage with state and local government agencies, particularly focusing on transportation, public safety, and stakeholders related to law enforcement.

  • Navigate intricate buying committees, lengthy sales cycles, and procurement processes.

  • Build strong perspectives on customer challenges and translate these into persuasive business proposals.

  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to support pilots, proof-of-concept projects, and customer feedback integration.

  • Contribute to refining Obvio’s sales playbooks, messaging, and early go-to-market processes.

  • Represent Obvio at customer meetings, site visits, and industry events as necessary.
