About the Role

AccuWeather is seeking an Account Executive to join the AccuWeather for Business sales team. This role supports a client base that includes over half of the Fortune 500, along with a broad range of businesses and government organizations worldwide. The focus is on developing vertical markets rather than managing a specific geographic territory. Location is flexible: work from State College, PA or remotely.

What You Will Do

  • Drive strategic B2B field sales, managing the process from pipeline development through customer acquisition.
  • Design and implement lead generation strategies that support customer retention and encourage referrals.
  • Shorten traditional sales cycles by closing new business efficiently.
  • Oversee multiple accounts as the main contact, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
  • Represent AccuWeather’s Enterprise Solutions to executives in targeted vertical markets.
  • Develop relationships within accounts, ensuring engagement from end users up to executive leadership.
  • Work with the AES team to introduce new products and services to current customers, helping to grow existing accounts.
  • Maintain a well-organized sales pipeline for accurate forecasting and to meet sales quotas.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Support, Account Management, and other teams to achieve campaign goals and strengthen AccuWeather’s market position.
  • Use sales database tools, including Microsoft Dynamics CRM, to manage and update account information.
  • Follow up on leads from a variety of media and sources, both internal and external.
  • Travel occasionally, up to 20-30% of the time.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
