About the job
Join SF Compute as we revolutionize the landscape of infrastructure development, addressing the most significant build-out in history.
In our mission to de-risk GPU cluster financing, we ensure that datacenters and their supporting infrastructure are secured through pre-existing contracts, thereby enhancing customer confidence and investment viability.
The complexities of financing GPU clusters, where margins are slim and volumes are substantial, pose inherent risks for lenders and developers. Our innovative approach mitigates these risks through fixed-price long-term contracts that safeguard both parties.
As artificial intelligence expands, accessibility to compute resources becomes a challenge. We are dedicated to creating a liquid market for GPU offtake, enabling startups and smaller companies to engage in this high-stakes environment.
About the Role:
As the Director of Project Delivery at SF Compute, you will lead the project management and construction management efforts for deploying large GPU clusters in colocation facilities and greenfield developments. You will oversee every stage of the project lifecycle, from preconstruction through active construction, commissioning, and final handover to end users. This role is based at our headquarters in San Francisco, with some travel required. Candidates must submit a portfolio showcasing their experience in data center projects.
About You:
You possess over 8 years of experience with a general contractor, specialty trades, or as an owner's representative, concentrating on the comprehensive delivery of data center projects.
You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field.
