Understanding Model Risk Management

In our context, models signify the algorithms and analytical tools we utilize to make informed financial decisions. These models are integral to Ebury's capability to effectively serve and safeguard our clients while fulfilling our regulatory commitments. However, using these models involves inherent risks. Model risk management encompasses the identification, assessment, and mitigation of these risks.

The Importance of Model Risk Management at Ebury

As we provide solutions to our clients, we recognize the critical need for accuracy, reliability, and trust in our operations. Our clients depend on us to deliver optimal financial solutions, and our models are vital in meeting their expectations. Your Responsibilities:

  • Design and uphold a comprehensive model risk management framework aligned with our fast-paced, dynamic environment and regulatory demands.
  • Guide and advise various teams within our organization—including Finance, Operations, Analytics, Decision Science, Sales & Marketing—on model development, validation, and implementation processes.
  • Review and assess model validations regarding accuracy, performance, and predictive capability.
  • Continuously monitor model performance and recommend necessary updates or modifications.
  • Provide reports and insights concerning our models to Risk Committees and Ebury Executives.
