About the Position:
Bluefish is on the lookout for a dynamic and strategic Director of Growth to spearhead the scaling of our account teams. This pivotal role is vital to the Growth organization as it focuses on managing and nurturing Account Leads and Account Managers while driving revenue growth, fostering strategic engagement, and enhancing customer success across vital industry sectors.
In your capacity as the Director of Growth, you'll be instrumental in defining how our organization expands strategic account engagement and post-sales growth. You will ensure that team performance translates directly into tangible customer results and ongoing business success, building on the groundwork laid by the Head of Growth and facilitating the success of individual Account Leads and Account Managers.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of Account Leads and Account Managers, focusing on specific industry verticals to drive high performance and career advancement.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Growth to translate the growth strategy into actionable execution plans, team objectives, and operational rhythms.
- Oversee day-to-day operations across vertical account portfolios, ensuring exceptional customer outcomes, retention, and growth.
- Develop and implement best practices for account planning, forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
- Conduct regular business reviews, pipeline assessments, and performance evaluations to track progress against KPIs and growth objectives.
- Act as an executive sponsor for clients, fostering executive-level relationships when necessary.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure alignment on key priorities and go-to-market strategies.
- Provide strategic insights on industry-specific trends, customer needs, and product opportunities to guide the broader growth strategy.
- Participate in the hiring, onboarding, and organizational design as the Growth team continues to expand.
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS growth, account leadership, or related customer success positions, with a minimum of 2+ years in people management.
- A proven track record of managing and scaling high-performance account teams that drive revenue retention, expansion, and strategic impact.
