Sigma Computing is hiring a Director of Global Partner Marketing Strategy in New York City, NY. This senior leader will bridge the Partner and Marketing teams, working closely with top ecosystem partners. The position calls for a strategist who can engage with executives and turn complex alliances into strong market presence and coordinated go-to-market execution.

The director will shape Sigma’s overall partner marketing strategy and align joint GTM plans across Sigma and its key partners.

Main Responsibilities

Executive Strategy & Ecosystem Intelligence

  • Organizational Alignment: Act as the main marketing contact for partner managers and executives. Lead collaborative sessions to ensure Sigma’s value is woven into the partner’s long-term plans and vice versa.
  • Ecosystem Mapping: Build detailed profiles for major partners, capturing their priorities, strengths, weaknesses, and industry focus areas.
  • Strategic Tiering: Work with the Partner Team to set partner priorities and tiers, and identify "white space" where Sigma and its partners can stand out together in the market.
  • Conflict Navigation: Analyze the partner ecosystem to find collaboration opportunities and handle "co-opetition" with clear, thoughtful messaging.

Strategic Positioning & Content

  • High-Level Messaging: Move beyond standard briefs to develop executive-level value propositions that position Sigma and partner solutions as leaders in the market.
  • Strategic Storytelling: Identify and highlight the partner’s perspective within complex customer success stories to show shared ROI to both partner sales and leadership teams.

Program Execution & Demand Generation

  • Co-Marketing Campaigns: Partner with Product Marketing Management and Field Marketing to design and run integrated programs, such as webinars, eBooks, and Account-Based Marketing initiatives, aligned with partner roadmaps and Sigma product launches.
  • Event-in-a-Box: Develop ready-to-launch event kits for System Integrators, including enablement materials and co-marketing options.
  • Additional responsibilities may be included as the role evolves.
