The Director of Facilities is a key leadership position at Clutch, tasked with the strategic oversight and operational management of our facilities and workplace operations. This role encompasses the entire lifecycle of facility management across our expanding multi-location footprint, which includes large-scale manufacturing sites, retail and commercial establishments, and corporate offices.
This position will spearhead the development of a centralized facilities function, establishing best practices, systems, and teams that will support Clutch’s growth while safeguarding high-value assets and ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations.
This is a fully on-site role.
Your Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Establish and expand a centralized facilities function from the ground up.
- Design, document, and implement standardized operating procedures.
- Set the strategic direction for facilities, workplace operations, and physical security, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and execute long-term roadmaps for facilities planning, infrastructure upgrades, and workplace optimization initiatives.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team focused on service excellence, ownership, and collaboration across functions.
- Build and maintain a robust vendor ecosystem, including sourcing, contract negotiations, and performance management.
Facilities Management
- Provide comprehensive leadership for the planning, maintenance, and ongoing enhancement of corporate facilities and physical assets.
- Oversee preventative maintenance programs, building systems, and sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Manage budgets related to facilities operations and capital investments, balancing service quality with cost efficiency.
- Supervise minor repairs, construction projects, and site enhancements across all facilities.
Operations & Workplace Services
- Oversee cleaning and housekeeping staff to maintain consistent site standards.
- Manage waste removal, snow removal, and landscaping services through annual tenders and vendor management.
- Enhance operational efficiency through process optimization, standardization, and technology integration.
