Product Engineering sits at the heart of this effort, developing the main platform that enables customers to gain insights and drive business growth. As the company prepares for its IPO, the team’s mission is expanding: moving from simply reporting on past activity to helping users understand the reasons behind it, supporting better decisions.
Role overview
The Director of Engineering, Product reports directly to the CTO and leads all aspects of Product Engineering. This leader oversees the core analytics experience used by product managers and engineers, builds growth infrastructure to attract and retain top builders, and strengthens platform features that help teams test and launch with confidence. Performance in this role is measured by revenue growth and customer retention.
What you will do
- Lead multiple engineering teams across product areas, focusing on developing people and maintaining strong execution standards.
- Drive the creation of AI-focused product analytics for new software tools.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of ownership and pride.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Design to turn ambitious ideas into well-executed features, upholding quality standards.
- Set technical standards, provide clear direction to tech leads, and ensure the reliability of systems managed by your teams.
- Identify and implement strategies that create meaningful value for customers and the business.
