We are currently seeking a seasoned Director of Client Services to join our Professional Services Sales team.
In this role, you will be tasked with achieving professional services bookings targets by promoting Smartsheet’s diverse range of Professional Services offerings. Your efforts will significantly enhance customer adoption of the Smartsheet platform across various intelligent work management solutions. You will serve as a sales overlay for two Enterprise Sales teams covering approximately 10-15 territories across the EMEA region. This position involves managing the complete sales process for services-only opportunities and working closely with Account Executives on combined software licensing and services sales opportunities.
This role reports to the Director of Professional Services Sales and Customer Outcomes in the EMEA region.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Gaining a deep understanding of Smartsheet's evolving suite of professional services and how they align with various solutions and customer maturity levels.
- Developing services-specific territory plans that outline priority accounts, key opportunities, and stakeholder relationship maps, integrating them into Account Executives' overall strategies.
- Accurately forecasting monthly and quarterly professional services bookings for your assigned territories.
- Maintaining pipeline integrity in Salesforce and Clari, ensuring all necessary fields and notes are current.
- Generating new business and expanding existing service pipelines through customized outbound initiatives.
- Overseeing a seamless technical scoping process, collaborating with Solutions Engineers, Solutions Architects, and Solutions Consultants.
- Leading the presentation of solutions proposals, effectively communicating compelling value at all levels of the customer organization, from individual contributors to executives.
- Negotiating pricing and terms for custom Statements of Work (SOWs) and packaged services.
