Join our compassionate and dedicated team as a Direct Support Professional in our Day Program located in Easton, PA!

In this fulfilling role, you will provide individualized support to adults with developmental disabilities and Autism who participate in our Community Life Day Programs. Our support staff is committed to enhancing the lives of individuals by helping them achieve their personal goals, fostering independence, and encouraging them to live their best lives.

Work Schedule: Weekdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (full-time shifts)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the Individual Support Plan (ISP) for each participant.
  • Document daily services and maintain accurate records as required by the Program Specialist/Team Lead.
  • Provide the highest quality of care to meet the individual needs of participants.
  • Create a safe and positive environment that supports self-expression and personal goals.
  • Facilitate community inclusion through various activities and experiences.
  • Encourage independence in daily activities, learning opportunities, leisure, and volunteering.

Requirements and Qualifications:

All candidates must fulfill ongoing job criteria, including background checks, physical exams, and clearances.

Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.

Certification: Certifications in First Aid, CPR, and Community Participation Supports for Direct Support Professionals will be provided and paid for by Access Services within six months of hire.

Experience: A minimum of one year of direct care experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities is preferred.

Driving Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle during work hours.
  • Must have held a U. S. driver’s license for at least two years (excluding time with a permit).
  • Must be listed as a driver on a valid auto insurance policy.

This role requires travel during the workday to fulfill position expectations. Employees are expected to drive safely and meet all eligibility criteria outlined in our Motor Vehicle Policy.
