About the job
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic DevOps Manager to spearhead the team responsible for ensuring the seamless operation and delivery of ThreatAware's platform. In this pivotal role, you will manage our AWS infrastructure, oversee CI/CD pipelines, enhance observability, and uphold platform reliability while redefining the developer workflow from start to finish, utilizing AI to optimize each phase. You will report directly to the CTO. If you view infrastructure as a strategic asset rather than merely a cost center, we want to hear from you.
Why Join ThreatAware?
At ThreatAware, we empower security teams with a unified source of truth for every device and tool within their organization. With over 150 integrations and the capability to deploy in under 30 minutes, we provide real-time visibility across entire IT infrastructures. Our clients span finance, legal, energy, and healthcare sectors — they rely on us to clarify what is protected and what requires attention.
We are on a journey to create something even larger. With six years of comprehensive cyber asset data, we are integrating AI to develop innovative methods for security teams to analyze their data, automate workflows, and proactively manage risks. Your infrastructural leadership will be crucial in making this vision a reality.
Your Responsibilities
Lead the infrastructure that enables our product team to deliver quickly and confidently.
Cultivate and expand the DevOps team, including engineers and a security specialist. Establish technical direction, recruit talented individuals, and foster career development.
Formulate AWS infrastructure strategies: multi-tenant architecture, container orchestration, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
Define and continually enhance the developer workflow. Develop tooling, observability, and automation that allows engineers to concentrate on coding, eliminating friction.
Innovate AI-assisted DevOps processes — investigate and apply AI solutions to streamline builds, deployments, monitoring, and incident responses.
Champion CI/CD excellence: ensure rapid builds, secure deployments, quality control, and empower product teams to release independently.
Manage cloud security posture: Identity and Access Management (IAM), secrets management, compliance, and vulnerability scanning. As a security company, our infrastructure must exemplify these principles.
Qualifications
Proven experience in building and leading a DevOps team. You possess the skills to hire, mentor, and set a clear direction.
Extensive AWS expertise — you have designed production infrastructure, not merely maintained it.
Strong opinions on Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi preferred), CI/CD, and containerization.
You strike a balance between operational rigor and velocity, knowing when to accelerate and when to decelerate.
Experience in high-security environments, ensuring compliance and best practices.
