About the Role
As a Developer Experience Engineer at Whop, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the engineering team's efficiency and productivity. Your focus will be on streamlining our development processes, improving reliability, reducing technical debt, and optimizing our tooling. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about empowering engineers to achieve 10x effectiveness.
What You'll Do
- Develop tools to swiftly establish local and remote development environments.
- Enhance and maintain our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) systems.
- Create tools that support gradual rollouts and enable instant rollbacks.
- Design agentic engineering systems to accelerate development workflows.
- Establish dependable staging and testing environments.
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure smooth testing and debugging experiences.
- Identify and mitigate technical debt, continually finding ways to enhance team efficiency.
What You Need
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a software development role.
- Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment with limited information.
- A strong desire to innovate and continually improve the product.
- Expertise in delivering fast, reliable software with a high attention to detail.
