Qualifications

You Will:Design and uphold Watershed’s commercial policies, which include pricing guidelines, discount structures, approval processes, booking policies, and other governance standards that ensure a balance between deal speed and long-term business health. Act as the operational steward of the order form, ensuring alignment between customer agreements, CRM data, and billing systems. Develop and scale the quote-to-close operating framework and supporting technologies, including CPQ configurations, contract workflows in our CLM system (Ironclad), and integrations connecting sales processes to downstream billing systems. Manage and update Watershed’s contract and order form language library, ensuring consistency in standard terms and conditions.

The Role

At Watershed, we are dedicated to assisting companies in measuring, reducing, removing, and reporting their emissions. As our go-to-market team expands, we are searching for a Deal Operations Lead who will architect and manage the commercial framework that facilitates successful deal-making.

This pivotal role interfaces with sales strategy, pricing, contracts, and operational systems. You will collaborate extensively with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Revenue Operations to structure intricate deals, design scalable commercial models, and develop the operational systems that underpin our quote-to-close processes.

To excel in this position, you will need to demonstrate strong commercial acumen, operational precision, and the ability to create systems that can scale. As artificial intelligence and automation transform team dynamics, we are particularly interested in candidates eager to harness these technologies to enhance how commercial teams formulate, evaluate, and execute deals.

This role is based in our New York office.
