We are looking for candidates who possess a strong foundation in data engineering principles and tools, particularly with experience in managing ELT processes and data warehousing solutions. Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Snowflake, Airflow, and dbt is highly desirable. You should also have the ability to implement testing frameworks and ensure data integrity.

About the Role

As Brighte's Data Engineer, you will be responsible for the essential infrastructure that ensures our data is reliable, scalable, and primed for AI applications. This includes managing our ELT pipelines (Airflow + dbt), the Snowflake Data Warehouse, and our overarching data architecture.

You will collaborate closely with our Analytics Engineering and Analytics teams, all with the singular aim of providing high-quality, traceable data that can be trusted and utilized by our business.

What You'll Do

  • Design and maintain Brighte’s data infrastructure.

  • Enhance and maintain the ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) pipeline, our data architecture, and relational data models.

  • Establish testing suites and control mechanisms to ensure a ‘single source of truth’ for the business.

  • Work alongside our IT Operations team to ensure Snowflake platform administration is effective.

  • Oversee Snowflake database administration.

  • Identify, define, and implement improvements in data processes to maximize value from existing and potential data sources.

  • Promote a culture driven by data.

  • Architect solutions for real-time data pipelines and AI use cases.

  • Effectively communicate ideas and insights across the team.
