xcellink is seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our team as Data Center Support Specialists. In this pivotal role, you will utilize your knowledge and skills to protect information systems and facilitate secure operational practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Colocation Room Control: Conduct regular inspections of the colocation area based on a scheduled timetable. Document the status of essential zones and react promptly to any anomalies by notifying the relevant personnel.
- Guided Access: Assist visitors lacking Personal ID cards by providing appropriate guidance and directions.
- Monitoring System Management: Quickly respond to alerts generated by the customer device monitoring system, taking necessary actions to resolve the issues.
- Data Center Entry/Exit Management: Oversee entry requests by reviewing applications from internal staff or customers to ensure compliance with access protocols.
- Shipping Management: Receive and verify shipping requests, properly store and label parcels for future reference, and coordinate with delivery services for parcel dispatch.
- Receiving Management: Process incoming applications, confirm schedules as required, receive packages from shipping services, store them appropriately, and distribute them to customers.
- Common Facility Management: Efficiently manage and organize usage schedules to ensure seamless operations and optimal resource utilization.
- Rental Item Management: Perform nightly inspections to ensure all rental items, such as tools and monitors, are accounted for and in good condition, requesting repairs or cleaning as necessary.
- Carry-in/Out Management: Oversee the process of handling carry-in/out requests, ensuring scheduling and documentation are accurately maintained.
- Remote Hands Services: Provide basic remote assistance by responding to customer requests via phone or email, ensuring all preconditions are met before executing tasks, and keeping detailed logs for billing purposes.
- Customer Notifications: Regularly inform customers about important updates and changes.
