Join Our Team as a Data Center Hardware Technician!
Located in Ellendale, ND (100% onsite) - Please note that this role is set to commence in early December 2025. We offer comprehensive relocation support for successful candidates.
This position will primarily involve first shift duties, although occasional rotation may occur (8 hours per day, 40 hours per week). Flexibility to work varying shifts is essential. Competitive salary range: $80,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience.
Position Overview:
We are in search of a dedicated Data Center Hardware Technician to provide essential support and maintenance for our Dell server infrastructure in a dynamic, high-demand setting. This role encompasses hands-on troubleshooting, repairs, and installations (rack and stack) with a strong emphasis on maximizing uptime and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, physically adept, and thrive in a collaborative datacenter environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hardware Maintenance & Repair:
Execute break/fix services on Dell servers, including the replacement of components such as GPUs, NICs, memory, and more. - Ticket Management:
Efficiently track, prioritize, and resolve hardware-related service tickets. - Troubleshooting & Diagnostics:
Utilize your knowledge of server architecture and components to identify and rectify hardware issues. - Customer Service & Communication:
Foster clear and professional communication with team members and internal stakeholders to maintain smooth operations. - Physical Datacenter Work:
Perform physical tasks in a demanding datacenter environment, including lifting up to 65 pounds and climbing ladders. - Team Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with fellow technicians and cross-functional departments to achieve deployment and maintenance targets. - Quality & Precision:
Ensure all tasks and repairs are completed with a high degree of accuracy and reliability.

- Must be a U. S. citizen.
- This position requires 100% onsite presence in Ellendale, ND.
- The role is expected to be primarily first shift, but must accommodate frequent rotations.
- Physical labor is an integral part of this dynamic datacenter role.
- Dell Server Expertise:
Demonstrated experience with racking, stacking, and servicing Dell servers in a datacenter environment.
- Break/Fix Proficiency:
Hands-on experience in diagnosing hardware issues and performing component replacements. - Troubleshooting Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities and technical understanding of server operations. - Customer Focus:
Outstanding communication skills with a professional, customer-first attitude.
