About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated DashMart Team Member who thrives in fast-paced, physical environments. As a vital part of our operations, you will engage directly in a variety of tasks, including:
- Inventory Management: Ensure accurate receiving, stocking, and monitoring of inventory, maintaining product quality and freshness while adhering to all HACCP and food-handling protocols.
- Order Fulfillment: Utilize technology similar to smartphones for scanning packages, picking, and staging orders to facilitate seamless handoff to Dashers.
- Customer Engagement: Communicate effectively and courteously with customers via the app, particularly regarding substitution approvals.
- Safety and Organization: Maintain a clean and safe working environment while following DashMart’s safety standards and completing assigned cleaning and organizational tasks.
- Team Collaboration: Embody the DoorDash value of “one team, one fight” by fostering a supportive and collaborative work atmosphere and engaging respectfully with colleagues and customers alike.
- Dasher Coordination: Assist in guiding Dashers as needed to ensure efficient operations.
