Key Responsibilities:Lead and mentor a team of Education Designers and Motion Designers to produce exceptional multimedia learning experiences. Own and manage the Figma Learn platform, ensuring continual updates and enhancements. Oversee the creation and development of educational resources. Collaborate closely with various teams (Education Content Strategy, Product, Marketing, Advocates) to align on educational priorities and objectives. Ensure that educational content aligns with key product launches and broader customer education programs. Provide timely coaching and feedback to promote team development and performance. Establish and maintain effective team routines, planning processes, and communication standards.

To further this mission, we are looking for a Manager of Customer Education Design to spearhead a team of Education Designers and Motion Designers tasked with creating engaging multimedia learning resources for our users. This team will produce high-quality content—including courses, videos, and hands-on projects—that not only supports major product launches but also ongoing customer education initiatives. Our resources will guide users throughout their entire learning journey, from initial activation to advanced skill mastery.

Success in this role hinges on strong leadership that fosters a balance between creativity and efficiency, paired with thoughtful and timely coaching. Close collaboration with cross-functional partners across customer education and go-to-market teams will be vital to achieve impactful and consistent outcomes.

This position also involves establishing clear and efficient team workflows, supported by well-defined roles, standardized processes, and measurable success metrics. The role is a hybrid of player and coach, as the manager will actively contribute to content creation while Figma continues to release new products and features at a rapid pace.

This is a full-time opportunity available at one of our US locations or via remote work within the United States.
