Program context in Ukraine

After the escalation of conflict in February 2022, Humanity & Inclusion reactivated its Country Programme in Ukraine. The team’s priorities through 2025 include:

  • Health: Expanding access to quality physical rehabilitation and mental health support for people affected by conflict.
  • Protection: Delivering multi-sectoral services to vulnerable groups, with a focus on disability-inclusive humanitarian response.
  • Armed Violence Reduction: Tackling explosive ordnance contamination through risk education and conflict preparedness. Clearance operations are scheduled to start in August 2026.
