weekday-1 is seeking a Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, to work with one of its clients. The focus of this role is to drive revenue growth by improving how users interact with digital experiences and reducing points of friction throughout the conversion funnel. The CRO Specialist will play a key part in shaping clear, persuasive messaging that directly affects top-line results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize website conversion rates (CVR) and landing page performance
  • Increase add-to-cart and checkout completion rates
  • Boost revenue per visitor (RPV)
  • Identify and address funnel drop-offs and leak points
  • Ensure all optimization efforts contribute to revenue growth without raising advertising spend

Funnel Analysis and Issue Diagnosis

  • Map the user journey from paid ads through landing pages, product detail pages, cart, and checkout
  • Identify friction points at each stage
  • Analyze behavioral drop-offs using tools such as GA4, Mixpanel, heatmaps (Hotjar, Clarity), and session recordings
  • Investigate root causes beyond surface-level metrics

Experimentation and A/B Testing

  • Develop structured experimentation plans
  • Create and test data-driven hypotheses
  • Run A/B and multivariate tests on landing pages, product pages, and checkout flows
  • Prioritize experiments with the highest potential impact
  • Track statistical significance and assess business outcomes

Landing Page and Product Detail Page Optimization

  • Enhance clarity, trust, and conversion intent on key pages
  • Optimize elements such as headlines, messaging, visual hierarchy, social proof, trust signals, and product education
  • Align landing pages with acquisition channels like Meta and Google

Checkout and Conversion Flow Optimization

  • Reduce cart abandonment and refine the checkout experience
  • Improve form fields and payment success rates
  • Analyze differences in behavior between Cash on Delivery and prepaid customers
  • Strengthen trust and urgency elements to improve conversions after add-to-cart

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Build dashboards to monitor funnel progress and key performance metrics
