Art is an integral part of our lives—it inspires us and connects us daily. In a world that increasingly values these connections, we remain steadfast in our commitment to our core values.

Inclusive: We aim to represent a multitude of voices in meaningful dialogue.

Passionate: Our engagement with art transcends mere employment; it is a lifestyle.

Brave: We approach our endeavors with courage and a spirit of adventure, always open to exploring diverse perspectives.

Empathic: Our goal is to operate as individuals, rather than as an institution.

SFMOMA is a space for the endlessly curious to engage with, support, and experience contemporary art. We believe that modern and contemporary art shapes our thoughts, perceptions, and appreciation of the diverse narratives that surround us. Our mission is to cultivate an environment that sparks joy, fosters a sense of belonging, and values every individual for their unique identity.

You will ensure that the Museum has efficient systems and procedures to facilitate effective program implementation and conduct seamless audits. Collaboration with program leaders and their teams is essential, as you will educate them on finance and accounting procedures while exploring how the finance function can enhance program operations.

· Within 30 days, you will have developed a solid understanding of Finance roles, workflows, and internal partnerships, gaining familiarity with the systems, applications, and reports managed by the Finance team.

· By 90 days, you will have established positive, collaborative relationships and will be adept at engaging with board members, staff, external vendors, and the general public.
