Role Overview: Contract Talent Partner / Recruiter

This contract position is based in Austin, TX or Dallas, TX. The Contract Talent Partner will manage end-to-end recruiting for Avride’s hourly contract workforce. The role centers on scaling hiring efficiently while ensuring a positive candidate journey. Acting as the main contact for applicants, this person will work closely with hiring managers to identify and secure top talent quickly.

What You Will Do

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly contractor roles.
  • Conduct daily phone and video interviews at high volume to screen candidates for a range of hourly positions.
  • Guide candidates through each stage of the hiring process and represent Avride professionally.
  • Handle recruiting logistics: schedule interviews, prepare candidates, and keep engagement high throughout the process.
  • Start background checks and other pre-employment steps as needed.
  • Coordinate job offers and start dates with new hires.
  • Lead or support hiring events, networking sessions, and career fairs.
  • Work alongside the recruiting team to help meet overall hiring targets.

Required Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of recruiting or staffing experience (agency or in-house).
  • Background in high-volume hiring for roles in operations, driving, warehousing, trades, or support functions.
  • Track record of delivering a positive candidate experience through clear, timely communication.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to stay focused in a busy environment.
  • Comfortable making frequent phone calls and connecting with candidates throughout the day.
  • Ability to quickly understand and communicate Avride’s value proposition to applicants.
  • Experience with ATS or agency CRM tools (such as Greenhouse), Slack, and Google Workspace.
  • General understanding of HR practices and employment law compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in autonomous vehicles and related technology.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws and background check procedures.
  • Experience leading recruitment efforts in technology or mobility sectors.
