Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly and empathetic Podiatrist to join our dedicated team. In this pivotal role, you will provide comprehensive care to patients in long-term care settings, making a significant difference in the lives of our patients while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough examinations of patients' legs and feet to diagnose various conditions.
  • Provide treatment for foot and leg injuries, including fractures, corns, and calluses.
  • Prescribe medications to alleviate joint pain and recommend foot orthoses to improve mobility and reduce discomfort.
  • Advise patients on foot care and overall wellness practices.
  • Request additional medical tests as necessary based on initial assessments.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree.
  • Active DEA License.
  • Experience in long-term care settings.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand/walk for 6-8 hours daily.
