About the job
Join Hadrian: Pioneering the Future of Manufacturing
At Hadrian, we are revolutionizing the manufacturing landscape by developing autonomous factories that empower aerospace and defense companies to produce rockets, satellites, jets, and ships with unprecedented speed and cost efficiency. Our innovative integration of advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing is transforming the way America fabricates its most essential components.
With a recent $260 million Series C funding round, we are poised to accelerate our mission. Our new 270,000 square foot facility in Mesa, Arizona, will create 350 immediate job opportunities and lay the groundwork for future expansions. Additionally, we are launching Hadrian Maritime to enhance naval production and introducing a Factory-as-a-Service model that delivers comprehensive systems rather than isolated parts.
Hadrian collaborates with startups, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, and leading defense contractors across the sectors of space, shipbuilding, and aviation, focusing on scaling production, minimizing costs, and expediting delivery for mission-critical programs. Supported by top-tier investors including Lux Capital, Founders Fund, and Andreessen Horowitz, our rapidly growing team is driven by a commitment to reindustrialize American manufacturing for the 21st century and beyond!
About the Position
As a CMM Programmer (PC-DMIS), you will play a vital role in enhancing Hadrian’s automated inspection capabilities. Your responsibilities will include programming and optimizing PC-DMIS routines for intricate prismatic parts within the aerospace and defense sectors, ensuring exceptional precision and reliability throughout our New Product Integration (NPI) and production workflows.
Unlike conventional environments, your programming endeavors will be executed on fully automated CMM cells engineered for lights-out operation. This requires the implementation of robust programming practices and controls to guarantee reliability. You will also work closely with our software automation teams, who have developed layered controls to standardize and safeguard the programming process.
This is an unparalleled opportunity to lead the charge in CMM automation and significantly influence the future of metrology in aerospace manufacturing.
