Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess strong interpersonal skills, a genuine passion for helping others, and the ability to navigate complex family dynamics. A consultative sales approach and prior experience in healthcare or related fields are highly desirable. Candidates should be adaptable, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.

About the job

Honor Technology and its consumer care brand, Home Instead, support older adults in living independently at home. By combining technology with in-home services, they deliver personalized care to seniors through a global franchise network. Home Instead’s Care Professionals provide millions of hours of support each year, aiming to help clients age in place with dignity.

Together, Honor and Home Instead work to raise the standard for aging at home by blending advanced tools, compassionate service, and a strong commitment to client autonomy.

Role overview

The Client Care Advisor guides families as they explore care options for loved ones. This position combines consultative sales, care planning, and relationship management. Advisors work closely with families from their first inquiry through onboarding and ongoing service, offering support at every step.

What you will do

  • Conduct detailed consultations to understand each client’s needs and readiness for care
  • Create individualized care plans based on those discussions
  • Oversee the client journey from initial inquiry to onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with clients and families, including regular reassessments and adjustments to care
  • Work with scheduling and operations teams to ensure reliable service
  • Keep accurate documentation and meet compliance requirements

Performance is measured by consult-to-start conversion rates, client satisfaction, and long-term retention. Building trust, making timely decisions, and supporting families through sensitive moments are key to success in this role.

Work environment and travel

This role requires frequent fieldwork, including in-person consultations, service starts, and quality assurance visits. Advisors often handle sensitive family situations and may need to respond after hours. About 75% of the job involves travel within Santa Rosa and Sonoma County, so reliable transportation and flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends are necessary.

Compensation

Annual on-target earnings range from $80,000 to $95,000, with 20% of compensation from uncapped monthly commissions.

About Honor Technology

Honor Technology is dedicated to transforming the way society cares for older adults through innovative technology and services. Our commitment to compassionate, high-quality care is exemplified by our partnership with Home Instead, the leading provider of in-home care for seniors worldwide.
