Requirements:Proficient understanding of verbal and written English. Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to inspire a team. Willingness to work overtime as needed. Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations. Computer literacy is essential. Experience in stock control. Desirable:At least 1 year of supervisory experience in the cleaning sector. IOSH – Managing Safely certification. Full UK driving license. Familiarity with cleaning and waste equipment operations, including scrubber-dryers, waste compactors, and ride-on tugs.

SHIFT PATTERN: 40 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days per week - 8-hour shifts

PAY RATE: £14.85 per hour

ABM UK is on the lookout for a dynamic and hands-on Cleaning Team Leader to oversee the soft services at a prestigious, multi-use complex in West Kensington, London. This landmark establishment will feature corporate offices, event spaces, leisure facilities, and restaurants, currently in the pre-opening phase.

As a vital member of our team, reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in mobilizing the site and ensuring the efficient delivery of cleaning services. This full-time role requires flexibility, including weekend shifts, to cater to the demands of a bustling environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delegate tasks to cleaning operatives and monitor their performance.
  • Conduct training and refresher sessions as necessary.
  • Proactively resolve any cleaning defects or issues on the floor.
  • Complete daily health & safety check documentation and maintain training records.
  • Assist in operational planning and service readiness during mobilization.
  • Ensure adherence to company standards and client expectations.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment effectively.
