Role Overview:
The Cleaning Team Leader (Non-Working) will oversee and guide a dedicated cleaning team, which may include Porters, window cleaners, and other specialized cleaning personnel, at a prestigious corporate site within an office setting. This role emphasizes effective supervision, adherence to quality standards, enhancing client experience, ensuring health and safety compliance, and maintaining a consistently high standard of cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all team members of the daytime cleaning staff, ensuring effective collaboration and consistent service quality across all roles.
- Supervise daily cleaning operations to ensure timely and high-standard task completion.
- Delegate responsibilities within the team and adjust staffing to meet operational needs, including managing leave requests.
- Uphold exemplary presentation and service standards befitting a corporate office environment.
- Monitor periodic task schedules to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality benchmarks.
- Conduct quality inspections on completed tasks and promptly address any discrepancies.
- Ensure correct usage and safety protocols of cleaning machinery by the team.
- Provide training and support to team members, including new hires and refresher training.
- Maintain accurate documentation, audits, and site records.
- Manage the Time & Attendance system for the team, ensuring precise entries.
- Submit payroll information in accordance with internal guidelines and deadlines.
- Conduct team briefings to ensure effective communication across shifts.
- Report to the Supervisor and communicate operational updates, escalations, and cleanup efforts post-events as necessary.
- Take responsibility for team performance, standards, and conduct.
- Promote and enforce health and safety regulations within the team.
Person Specification:
- Prior experience in leading and supervising a cleaning team in an office or corporate environment.
- Outstanding attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality standards.
- Excellent communication abilities (both verbal and written).
