Qualifications

Qualifications:A valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver's license with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is mandatory. Familiarity with manual transmissions (10 or 13-speed) is essential; passing CEDA’s driver assessment is expected. Experience in operating Pressure or Vacuum Trucks is preferred. At least 1 year of operator experience in an industrial setting. First Aid, H2S Alive, and CSO certifications are advantageous. Confined Space and Fall Protection certifications are beneficial; training will be provided. Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test with a negative result.

Join CEDA as a Class 1 or Class 3 Driver/Operator at our Dawson Creek, BC facility! You will play a vital role in delivering top-notch pressure and vacuum services on a call-out basis, with a dedicated dispatch team ensuring you stay engaged and productive.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain Pressure Trucks, Hydrovacs, Combo Units, and various other vacuum trucks while collaborating with Labourers, spending 90% of your time actively on-site.
  • Perform minor maintenance and checks on equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Prioritize safety for all team members and property at all times.
  • Deliver high-quality services to our clients, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Work effectively within a team and follow directives from supervisors.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety at job sites, leaving them in better condition than found.
  • Transport hoses, PPE, and tools to work locations as needed.
  • Accurately complete required paperwork for projects and jobs.
  • Exhibit an eye for detail and a commitment to doing the job right the first time, safely.
