QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in a consulting environment with a proven track record. Strong expertise in Land Development Design, including Site, Grading, and Utility Plans, as well as Construction Details and Conceptual Layouts. Experience in Stormwater Design and preparation of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans. Proficiency in obtaining agency approvals and managing project timelines and budgets effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage constructively with clients and project teams. Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across various locations. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and an acute attention to detail. Professional Engineer (PE) registration is encouraged. Familiarity with AutoCAD and HydroCAD is advantageous. Experience in construction administration is preferred.

LaBella Associates is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Civil Engineering initiatives within our Land Development Group at our Winston-Salem, NC office. This role involves managing a team of junior engineers to deliver high-quality Land Development projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee Land Development Civil Engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Supervise the creation of Civil Engineering Site Plans, guiding projects from conceptual design through to construction documentation.
  • Prepare Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Engage with clients, attend meetings, mentor junior staff, and prepare professional service proposals and requests for proposals.
  • Coordinate with Architects and MEP engineers and represent the company at public presentations, manage project invoicing, and facilitate agency approvals.
