Role overview

This Civil Engineer – Land Development position is based in Chicago, Illinois. The role centers on projects in residential, commercial, and industrial land development. Collaboration with colleagues is essential to deliver project designs and support key stages from initial planning through construction.

What you will do

  • Prepare conceptual site layouts for a variety of development projects
  • Design utility systems, including water and sanitary sewer mains
  • Plan and design roadways and site grading
  • Develop solutions for storm drain and stormwater management
  • Address requirements for soil erosion and sediment control
  • Assist with permitting and support construction activities, starting in 2026
