About the job
As the Chief of Staff to the Founders at Glucare, you will serve as a vital strategic ally and catalyst for the CEO of a rapidly growing healthtech organization that is transforming diabetes management through AI, continuous data monitoring, and tailored interventions. From the outset, you will make a significant impact by optimizing high-priority projects, distilling insights across departments, and ensuring that the Founder's focus remains sharply on vision and expansion.
This role is highly visible and influential across the organization, connecting our AI and technology initiatives with clinical outcomes and commercial strategies. You will excel in navigating uncertainty, converting intricate strategies into actionable outcomes while promoting alignment in a fast-paced growth setting. This position deviates from a conventional COO role; success hinges on close collaboration with the Founder, cross-functional authority on projects, and unwavering execution.
Key Objectives:
- Guide the formulation and implementation of strategic initiatives, ensuring cohesive alignment among Technology, Clinical, and Commercial teams.
- Enhance decision-making by amalgamating cross-functional insights and identifying risks and opportunities for the Founder and leadership.
- Refine organizational processes to boost speed-to-market, uphold regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA), and scale operations effectively.
- Function as the central communication hub, promoting technological understanding and clinical endorsement throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic & Operational Alignment (Tech/Data Focus)
- Initiative Ownership: Monitor and drive the execution of OKRs and crucial projects, ensuring cross-functional synergy and timely delivery, particularly at the Tech/Clinical interface (e.g., AI model deployments linked to validation timelines).
- Insight Synthesis: Gather updates from functional leaders (Clinical Operations, Finance, Technology, Business Development) into succinct, impactful briefings for the Founder, highlighting risks, opportunities, and necessary decisions.
- Tech-Clinical Bridge: Act as the primary liaison between Product/Technology teams and Clinical/Business Operations, aligning releases with regulatory milestones and patient impact objectives.
- Performance Monitoring: Develop and manage KPI dashboards tracking AI/Tech impact on outcomes, efficiency, and revenue; prepare reports for Board-level discussions.
- Leadership Forums: Coordinate executive and Board meetings, including agendas, pre-reads, and follow-up actions.
2. Project & Organizational Leadership:
- Founder Proxy: Represent the Founder in internal and external settings as directed, advancing priorities with authority and discretion.
- Efficiency Engine: Identify and implement process enhancements to mitigate friction, focusing on compliance, tech scaling, and decision-making speed.
- Risk Navigation: Proactively identify obstacles and lead corrective actions to ensure project success.
