Role Overview: Chief of Staff

This San Francisco-based position partners closely with the CEO during a period of significant growth. The Chief of Staff plays a key role in keeping teams coordinated, driving operational improvements, and ensuring that company initiatives move forward smoothly as Casca scales its impact in lending and financial technology.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the CEO’s agenda and oversee special projects, making sure critical initiatives stay on track and aligned with business goals.
  • Work directly with the CEO on meetings, both internal and external, and help advance company priorities.
  • Promote cross-functional communication, helping teams collaborate and achieve shared objectives.
  • Lead internal projects to improve operations, from adopting new systems to streamlining workflows across departments.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 3 years in management consulting at a leading firm (such as McKinsey, Bain, or BCG) or strategic roles in high-growth tech companies.
  • Proven ability to structure complex operational challenges, build scalable processes, and deliver results in startup environments.
  • Experience managing internal operations, team coordination, or chief of staff responsibilities in fast-growing organizations.
  • Strong analytical skills, including both quantitative and qualitative problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication abilities, comfortable working with everyone from individual contributors to executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA from a top business school.
  • Experience supporting internal operations during rapid team expansion (from 30+ to 200+ employees).
  • Background in fintech, banking, or lending.
  • Technical knowledge and familiarity with AI or machine learning applications.
