Role overview The Field Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) acts as a strategic link between Cobalt’s Offensive Security services and the priorities of client security leaders. This executive-level position shapes go-to-market solutions and designs, representing Cobalt’s vision for the future of human-led, AI-driven penetration testing. This is a market-facing role that involves direct engagement with client CISOs, supporting sales teams, and serving as a public advocate for Cobalt’s approach to security testing. Main responsibilities Present Cobalt’s product vision and roadmap to both technical and executive audiences. Translate complex technical features into clear business value and ROI for clients and prospects. Act as executive sponsor for major enterprise deals, building peer-level relationships with prospective CISOs to address technical and strategic questions. Advise enterprise clients on integrating Cobalt’s findings into their security programs and DevSecOps processes. Collaborate with Sales Enablement to train go-to-market teams on the CISO perspective and how to communicate Cobalt’s unique value. Develop supporting content and training resources. Serve as a trusted advisor, helping enterprise clients transition from periodic compliance testing to ongoing, attacker-focused security assessments.
