Role overview The Field Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) acts as a strategic link between Cobalt’s Offensive Security services and the priorities of client security leaders. This is a market-facing role that involves direct engagement with client CISOs, supporting sales teams, and serving as a public advocate for Cobalt’s approach to security testing. Main responsibilities Present Cobalt’s product vision and roadmap to both technical and executive audiences. Translate complex technical features into clear business value and ROI for clients and prospects. Act as executive sponsor for major enterprise deals, building peer-level relationships with prospective CISOs to address technical and strategic questions. What you will do Security strategy and risk management Guide the development and ongoing improvement of mecka.ai’s security posture and risk management framework. Identify vulnerabilities across all systems and address risks proactively. Set and enforce security standards and best practices throughout the organization. Device and endpoint security Direct the deployment and management of Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems for laptops and access controls. Apply device hardening, access policies, and security configurations. Oversee secure onboarding and offboarding of employee devices. Infrastructure and application security Safeguard infrastructure, including cloud computing environments, internal systems, and development workflows.
