Qualifications

Genuine passion for supporting children with autism. Possess patience, compassion, and strong teamwork skills. Must be 18 years of age or older. High school diploma or GED required. Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification, as well as a Tuberculosis test (if not completed within the last year). Ability to pass a pre-employment background check. Physical capability to perform various movements (sitting, squatting, bending, etc.). Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

In this fulfilling role, you will work closely with children, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Your responsibilities will include using evidence-based practices to teach essential skills in communication, social interactions, and daily living, while also helping to minimize challenging behaviors.

We seek individuals who are not only compassionate and patient but also thrive in a collaborative team environment. Comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the necessary skills, even if you are new to this field. This position requires physical mobility, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
