Job Summary

We are in search of a dedicated and compassionate Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will provide comprehensive care to patients facing heart-related conditions. This is a unique opportunity to positively impact patient lives while collaborating with a passionate team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests.
  • Work in collaboration with cardiologists to formulate and execute treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular issues.
  • Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
  • Perform cardiac stress tests, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and other diagnostic procedures.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding cardiovascular health, preventive practices, and the importance of medication adherence.
  • Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
  • Familiarity with CMS Regulations and NCQA HEDIS Guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with OSHA and government regulations, performing duties in line with site quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
  • Analyze and organize care for critically complex patients.
