The Role
This is an ideal opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs looking to gain a comprehensive understanding of high-growth fintech operations. You will collaborate closely with our COO on top-priority initiatives, gaining exposure to all facets of the business, including product development, operations, partnerships, finance, and compliance.
We are seeking a versatile Business Operations generalist to partner with our COO on critical projects across the organization. You will act as an extension of the leadership team, taking ownership of workstreams from start to finish, pivoting quickly to focus on the most vital tasks of the week.
This position is dynamic; responsibilities may shift rapidly. One day, you could be project-managing a feature launch impacting hundreds of thousands of users, and the next, you might negotiate a contract with a banking partner or develop training materials to expand our call center operations fivefold within 60 days.
Key Projects You May Work On
Product Launch Management: Take charge of project managing a new feature expected to reach hundreds of thousands of cardholders. Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and brand partners to ensure successful implementation. Draft the internal PRD, track outstanding questions, and ensure no details are overlooked.
Partner and Vendor Negotiations: Lead negotiations with our sponsor bank, card networks, or service partners. Grasp the contract terms, advocate for necessary changes, and finalize agreements that safeguard the business interests.
Scaling Operations: Design training procedures and standard operating protocols to expand our call center from 20 to 100 agents in just 60 days. Create documentation that enables operations to handle ten times our current volume.
Process Development: Establish new workflows from the ground up— whether it’s a closure process for a new product category or a monitoring dashboard for partner performance.
