Base Salary: £24,800 with a pay increase anticipated on 1st April 2026

We are on the lookout for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to represent our renowned brands within a designated territory. This essential field sales role will focus on expanding our footprint in the vital Symbols & Independents (S&I) retail sector. Your collaborative spirit and ability to work towards shared objectives will be key to our collective success.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Growth Execution
- Proactive Distribution: Actively pursue distribution and availability of AG Barr’s core brand range, educating retailers on our Hero, Core, and More brands to boost sales.
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet sales KPIs, including market share growth, display placements, and overall scorecard improvements, leveraging data to track performance and demonstrate growth.
- Energy Focus: Play a crucial role in executing our Energy Portfolio distribution plan, tapping into this rapidly growing sector.
Category Expertise & Partnership
- Relationship Building: Establish strong relationships with customers, quickly securing their commitment and confidently presenting our brands.
- Trusted Advisor: Utilize market insights to educate retailers, assisting with re-merchandising strategies that maximize sales for both the retailer and AG Barr.
- Excellence in Execution: Communicate brand plans with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring our brands are effectively represented at the point of purchase with impactful Point of Sale (POS) materials.
Field Operations & Collaboration
- Organizational Excellence: Maintain stellar time management and effective route planning to maximize productivity and ensure all POS materials are organized for each visit.
- Team Collaboration: Work cohesively as a vital part of a collaborative territory team, striving towards shared goals for mutual success.
