About the job

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Business Development Representative to enhance our sales process from initial contact to customer onboarding. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for organizing meetings, managing CRM updates, preparing quotes, and diligently following up with potential clients. Additionally, you will support outbound outreach using curated lead lists, making this position ideal for those who thrive in a dynamic startup environment and can efficiently support a technically-focused sales process with minimal supervision.

This position is permanently remote and operates during U. S. EST business hours.

Inbound Sales Coordination

  • Respond to incoming leads from website forms, emails, and referrals.
  • Schedule and participate in discovery and demo calls with prospects (another team member will lead).
  • Document meeting notes, track follow-ups, and clarify next steps.
  • Update and maintain our CRM (HubSpot) with notes, status changes, and deal progress.

Pipeline & Quote Management

  • Collaborate with our team to create tailored quotes for each prospect.
  • Follow up with prospects through email and automated drip campaigns.
  • Maintain visibility on all leads and deals via HubSpot pipeline views.

Customer Onboarding & Internal Handoff

  • Facilitate new customer onboarding steps.
  • Ensure seamless transition from sales to technical support.
  • Proactively communicate with internal teams to prevent drop-offs.

Outbound Support

  • Conduct outbound outreach using curated contact lists (via email and/or LinkedIn).
  • Track engagement, schedule calls, and refine messaging as necessary.
  • Maintain organized records of outbound activities in HubSpot.

Requirements

Familiarity with the following is essential:

  • Our platform is utilized by OSINT practitioners, law enforcement, threat intelligence analysts, and investigators.
  • Key concepts such as managed attribution, online investigations, digital identity management, secure virtual desktops/phones, and mobile geolocation control.
  • The dynamics of sensitive, high-trust, low-volume B2B sales environments.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in sales support, inside sales, business development, or customer success.
  • Extensive experience with HubSpot CRM.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Slack, Zoom, and GSuite.
