Qualifications

At least 10 years' experience in business development roles within the mining and minerals sectors, with expertise in OEM sales, project execution, or operations within an EPC/EPCM organization. A post-secondary degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related field. Strong understanding of commercial, economic, and business dynamics relevant to the industry and local markets. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from clients to senior leadership and frontline employees.

We are actively seeking a talented Business Development Manager to become an integral part of our Mining team, located in Toronto, ON. In this role, you will spearhead business development initiatives for Bantrel's mining operations within the Canadian market. You will report directly to the Vice President of Client Solutions and will collaborate closely with Bechtel Mining and Metals to enhance our North American business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to Bantrel’s strategic framework through comprehensive market, client, and competitor analysis across Canada.

  • Lead the development of mining and infrastructure proposals and manage the response process, including crafting capture strategies and coordinating proposal development.

  • Actively represent Bantrel within the industry to cultivate relationships and enhance brand awareness.

  • Collaborate closely with the Vice President/General Manager to formulate and implement strategies for market development and penetration aligned with business objectives.

  • Oversee the pursuit risk management process, ensuring close collaboration with Bantrel's legal and project management teams during prime contract reviews.

  • Support the commercial strategy for project pursuits.

  • Foster regular collaboration with Bechtel's Global Business Unit (GBU) to optimize offerings for clients in our shared markets.
