The Role
The Business Development Manager will focus on selling our packaging tradeshows within a thriving business unit that consistently achieves double-digit annual growth. Reporting directly to the US Sales Director, you will be instrumental in driving revenue through new business development, sales operations management, and enhancing our market presence in the United States.
This hands-on, commercially driven sales role demands initiative, exceptional organizational skills, and meticulous reporting. You will engage with manufacturers, suppliers, and innovators throughout the packaging ecosystem, facilitating their connections with global luxury brands during our international events.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Identify and qualify potential exhibitors within the packaging ecosystem.
- Generate leads through cold calling, outbound emails, and structured follow-ups.
- Build and maintain a robust, predictable pipeline for LUXE PACK trade shows.
- Conduct structured sales calls and video meetings with prospects and clients.
- Support the Sales Director in managing key accounts and exploring strategic opportunities.
- Represent the LUXE PACK brand with professionalism and insightful market knowledge.
CRM, Process & Reporting
- Utilize the CRM on a daily basis to manage leads, track activities, and forecast sales.
- Accurately log calls, emails, meetings, and next steps consistently.
- Prepare regular sales reports for the US and French management teams.
- Ensure high data quality to facilitate effective forecasting and strategic planning.
Data, Research & Market Intelligence
- Be proficient in Excel, utilizing filters, tracking files, and reporting.
- Conduct thorough online research to identify new prospects, categories, and market trends.
- Be proactive and resourceful in lead sourcing and understanding market dynamics.
- Monitor competitor activities and industry developments to refine the sales strategy.
