Job Purpose
As a Business Development Manager, your primary objective is to proactively seek, identify, qualify, and cultivate new business opportunities within assigned accounts, contributing significantly to the overall sales targets set for your area.
Your Daily Mission
Expand the sales pipeline for your territory by actively engaging with key client segments, particularly Architect and Design Firms, Real Estate Entities, Project Management Teams, large corporate clients, and government organizations. Strategies may include networking, lead tracking, and collaborating with senior management to align strategies with crucial accounts.
Formulate and execute strategic business plans aimed at maximizing new business and growth opportunities, ensuring you take full ownership of meeting your specified goals and objectives.
Utilize the sales funnel concept to forecast sales over 30, 60, and 90 days, partnering with sales leaders to devise effective strategies for closing deals.
Devise sales presentation strategies centered around product project concepts, conducting presentations that align Haworth's offerings with client needs.
Assist in the formulation of marketing strategies for Haworth's diverse range of products and services.
Proactively gather market intelligence, including insights on competitors' products, market activities, industry trends, and upcoming projects.
Collaborate closely with the sales operations team to ensure a seamless sales process.
Work in tandem with the internal architecture and design team, along with the marketing department, to facilitate lead exchange and enhance customer experience.
