Your responsibilities
- Evaluate and qualify new hardware components, such as PV modules and substructures, by performing technical risk analyses and integration tests.
- Plan and supervise comprehensive functionality and quality tests for new hardware, working with external testing labs to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Support the smooth integration of new hardware into installation and assembly workflows.
- Design and refine the approval process for new suppliers and products, collaborating closely with Supply Chain Management, Hardware, Procurement, and Installation Excellence teams.
- Promote ongoing improvement of installation standards in the DC area, in partnership with the Quality Management Installation group.
Your profile
- Degree in engineering (such as electrical or industrial engineering) or a comparable qualification.
- Professional experience in quality management or hardware integration, ideally within renewable energy or photovoltaic sectors.
- Strong background in risk analysis, supplier qualification, and process development.
- Familiarity with DC installation regulations, including VDE standards, Eurocode, and roofing codes.
- Experience working with external testing laboratories and in validation and certification processes.
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly and effectively.
